Ungrammary Design Fellowship 2025
UNGRAMMARY TRAINEE FELLOWSHIP 2025
Work and grow under a globally reputed agency.

ABOUT THE FELLOWSHIP
At Ungrammary, we believe constraints are what shape and strengthen great design. This fellowship is structured to give skilled designers the opportunity to apply their abilities on real cases, guided by senior mentors.Fellows receive a stipend throughout the program and, top performers will be offered a full-time positions with Ungrammary.
Reasons why we started this
At Ungrammary, we recognise early career designers as learners at their most impressionable stage, full of potential and ready to absorb and adapt. We want to nurture this talent by helping them build strong fundamentals, adaptability, and the right mindset for design thinking. When young designers at this stage are guided well, they quickly adapt, grow, and produce meaningful work. However, if they learn incorrect usability of design systems and methodologies early on, it often takes a long time to unlearn. That is why we believe in shaping trainees and early career designers at the very beginning, so their foundation remains strong.
The Ungrammary Design Fellowship was created in response to this insight. Our goal is to give young designers the right exposure at the beginning of their careers so they learn to approach design with clarity, rigour, and problem-solving ability from day one. This fellowship ensures that designers grow with the right foundation and are prepared work with global brands.
Founders led mentorship
This fellowship is led by Swati and Rahul, the founders of Ungrammary and graduates of IIT Roorkee; coming with a decade of hands-on experience and with hidden insights to the workings of the design industry. They built the agency from the ground up and have grown it at a global scale, leading to collaborations with renowned brands across the world. They are hands-on, approachable, and invested in helping fellows sharpen their craft, gain clarity in their process, and build the confidence needed to thrive in the industry.

No. The fellowship is not an open course. It is a selective trainee program into a career at Ungrammary. Only designers who qualify through the application process are admitted.
Not necessarily. You can apply if you are seeking an internship or are already interning elsewhere. What matters most is your ability to demonstrate strong design execution skills.
No. The fellowship is open only to young designers who are ready to jump-start their careers. Not open to students who are still in their last year, since they are usually juggling heavy academic responsibilities and we want them to prioritise their academics before stepping into the industry.
You should be proficient in Figma, understand design systems, Material Design, accessibility standards, and be able to apply heuristics and UX principles effectively. The fellowship builds on these foundations, we do not teach them from scratch.
Yes. All fellows receive a monthly stipend for the six months.
Fellows who demonstrate high performance and problem-solving ability are offered a full-time role at Ungrammary.
Highly competitive. We admit only a small cohort of designers who show both execution mastery and the potential to grow into problem-solvers.
This is not just a fellowship.
It is a career pathway.
